About Dannii
I started my own business at the end of 2019 as a freelance creative Makeup Artist and have over 5 years of experience applying makeup to clients for special occasions, weddings, proms and photoshoots. I gained my Beauty Guild insurance through a 20-week pro course with PLouise make-up academy in Manchester. My work has involved working with stylists from Taylors Hairdressing in Southend, creating looks on their models for competitions such as the L’Oréal Colour Trophy and the L’Oréal id artist team. I have also worked with 'RTG Wellness Delivered' at a corporate event at L’Oréal HQ.
In 2021 I won the social media Hair and Beauty award for ‘Bridal MUA of the Year’. In addition, I also won silver and bronze awards in The British Hair and Beauty Awards 2021 for ‘Make-up Artist of the Year’ and ‘Rising Star of the Year’ respectively. I was a finalist in the HBA awards – category Best New Talent. More recently, I have been a finalist in the 2023 UK Hair and Beauty Awards, for ‘Make-up Artist of the Year’ and have been shortlisted for the British Hair and Beauty awards 2023 – Makeup Artist of the Year. I am also trained and qualified in lash lift, brow lamination and hair extensions.
